Airbrush Tanning Benefits vs. UV Exposure

Anyone else ready for Spring? I know we are at Bronzed. With Spring on the way, so is the SUNSHINE (YEAH!) and sunburns (NOx).

Be sure to keep your skin nice and healthy by opting for an airbrush tan this season.

Just a few statistics for you… 1 in 5 people will develop skin cancer by age 70. Did you know Colorado has the highest rate of skin cancer per capita? Nationally, 19.7 of every 100,000 people will get skin cancer, but in Colorado that number rises to 21.9 out of every 100,000 people. This is partially due to higher elevation creating more intense sun exposure. Preventative measures like long sleeves, hats, sunscreen, and *cough cough* airbrush tans all help reduce your risk for this damn disease.

Now.. let’s talk about the benefits of getting an airbrush tan VS baking yourself like a biscuit in the sun (or tanning bed, YIKES!). 

1.)   Instant gratification! Airbrush tans typically have cosmetic bronzers in their solutions, which helps give you instant gratification VS waiting for the buildup of a natural tan. (Prep skin, spray, and voila -- you’re tan!) 

2.)  Spray tans do not involve UV rays which lessens premature aging and sunspots.

3.) Go au-natural and even out those tan lines developed while wearing clothes (good-bye farmers tan). 

4.) Can’t tan naturally? Always burn no matter what? Airbrush tanning is the way to go. 

5.) You’re already perfect, but spray tans can help you feel more confident in your own skin (and who doesn’t want that?).
